With only three more days to go to the end of the season, the river is rising tonight again in the headwaters, and there are some vicious South-westerly winds. These are to reach their peak tonight Saturday, and will calm down Sunday switching to the west and with rain until lunchtime in the headwaters and thereafter showers. There is unfortunately more rain forecast for the headwaters on Monday night through into Tuesday so please check with your beat before you travel any distance for the last three days. Please also be safe, wading sticks and lifejackets, wrap round glasses and a hat should all be automatically picked up on the way out of the door on your fishing trip.
