I am delighted to send you a picture of my son Sam Quinlan and the Junction legend that is Pud Murray, with a lovely 9lb springer caught on Tuesday 22nd just before lunchtime. It was one of 3 that we caught that day, one earlier of about 6 lb and another 11lb bar of silver in the afternoon, all on a black and yellow tube using that aged father son tradition of, dad hooks them, son lands them! The wind and water height prevented him from being able to cast far enough to cover the fish from the bank but he tried his darnedest from the boats after some expert guidance and tuition from the ghillies. We had a fantastic 3 days despite the conditions, he is already looking forward to the next trip, so am I if I’m honest !   Dominic Quinlan
