A Yellow alert has been issued for North East England for Saturday by the Met Office, this may effect the Till, Bottom and Lower Tweed if the rain does appear, however as they are on the outer edge of the alert radius, we are not sure. The warning says:- “Spells of heavy rain and thundery showers have the potential to cause disruption during Saturday. The public should be aware of the risk of surface water flooding, with strong to gale force winds an additional hazard for southern counties.”
