The Met Office have a number of helpful pages, one of which is their rainfall radar. At present this is showing heavy rain in the west which is to spread East and North. The latest wind speeds are light to moderate in the East of the Tweed Valley at 10mph and 13mph however further west into Dumfries and Galloway winds speeds at present are at 32mph with gusts up to 44mph. Lets hope this latest weather follows the forecast and avoids all but the outer edge of the catchment. Fingers crossed, we could do without this latest batch of summer bank holiday weather.
