Well the river temperature has fallen to 52 / 54 deg depending on where you are in the catchment. With yesterday’s rain it is also coloured and running high, sunny spells are forecast for today with little or no rain. However winds gusting to 30 mph from the West will add to the difficulties today. Tomorrow the winds ease down, but about 7mm rain is forecast in the central catchment. Thursday we are expecting to be hit by the tail end of another Atlantic storm with winds forecast to gust to 35 mph from the south west, through Thursday reaching their peak of 45mph gusts overnight and turning from the West into Friday morning. At least it is going to blow the rain through as little is forecast for the rest of the week! There are no Met Office warnings as yet, but keep an eye on the weather.
- From an anglers point of view this is a smack in the chops. Employment is incredibly important here in the Tweed... fb.me/4umVyYxnm 2 days ago
