The Till is now also falling as the attached picture shows. You can see the mark on the Mill wall where the water reached, so good news it’s gone back a good bit. However it is still well above normal level and running brown. The good news is that the Heatherslaw Railway at Ford & Etal Estate is back operating as normal tomorrow after having to curtail some of its runs with the floods of this week. Well worth a visit and well done to them for getting back on track! (groan, excuse the pun, it is Friday). Have a good weekend folks.
