The Tweed is the second longest river in Scotland and takes great pride in the fact that it produces more fish caught to the fly than any other river in Britain. It is 98 miles long and gains life from a staggering 1500 sq miles (4000 sq km) of border catchment area.
Nicholas Henderson, Burts Hotel Melrose say’s ‘Best Fishing Spots on the Tweed calendar is a perfect complimentary gift for our fishing guests in terms of size and quality. The photography is especially good. Most importantly the calendar serves as a tremendous visual reminder for our guests who visit the River Tweed.
The calendar is photographed by award winning advertising art director, photographer and angler Guy Gumm.
Mark Wallace, General Manager Dryburgh Abbey Hotel says ‘This stunning calendar showcases Europe’s most productive salmon river with many of the prime beats and the beautiful Borders landscape at its best. Many anglers stay at the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel and the calendar is a beautiful memento to take away and reminisce about their day fishing the River Tweed’
