The Wheatsheaf food reflects the local borders larder, with mature beef from local farms and fresh daily fish deliveries from Eyemouth Harbour just 12 miles away, with scallops & whole Scottish lobster a speciality.  All dishes are made to order with the freshest of ingredients. Good selection of 50 wines and some 50 single scotch malts to enjoy convivial banter around the log fire. Breakfast is a particular joy including choices of Craster kipper, smoked haddock and smoked salmon and of course freshly squeezed orange juice and home-made granola.

For your convenience there is a secure rod room along with drying and laundry facilities. Local guides, kit hire and instructors can be arranged for clients. And of course, packed lunches and hampers can be prepared to your specific requirements.

For 2013, double en-suite rooms for single occupancy start at £89 B&B reducing to £79 for reservations of 3 days or more. Winter Breaks packages for 2 sharing run from 1st December to 28th February and start from £59 pppn DB&B. Late deals can also be viewed on the web site
