Well the much anticipated change of wind direction from East to West, finally started to happen at the weekend and the resulting spring flood started.

Now please, we do not want the rain to go on and on, and while I am on my knees asking, can we drop the wind speeds too please? We anglers aren’t that fussy, we just want a break, 2012 was awful and the thought of a repeat performance by the weather gods doesn’t bear thinking about. Act positive, think positive, the ten day forecast for next week is showing westerly light breezes and showers with sunny spells. Oh yes please that sounds much more like it.
