Fin & Game open their first store in the Scottish Borders at 36-38 Bridge Street, Kelso on Monday 1st August, 2016.
The store, nestled in the busy border town of Kelso covers a total area of 4,000 square feet and houses clothing and equipment for fishing, shooting and country sports.
Displayed over two floors, the shop is dedicated to country pursuits. The light and airy ground floor is devoted to anglers with displays of rods, reels, accessories and clothing for men and women. There is a focal area with comfy leather sofas and the chance to take a moment to enjoy a Nespresso coffee whilst checking the latest catches, river levels and fishing reports for Tweed on the FishPal ipad.
The signature blue and white logo, Fin & Game identity, is the common thread running throughout the design of the shop. Borders artist Clare Brownlow’s bespoke work of birds in flight leads customers upstairs to the shooting department.
Displays, counters and floors in oak and walls clad with photographs by writer and traveller Tarquin Millington-Drake complete the furnishing.
