Could you be a River Tweed Commissioner?
Scottish Borders Council are looking for Borderers with an interest in the River to serve on the River Tweed Commission.
The RTC is made up of Tweed Proprietors and local representatives – the local representatives being appointed by the Councils either side of the Border. The Commission meets four times a year, in Kelso, and appointments are for an initial three-year period. Scottish Borders Council currently have vacancies in some of the old Burghs in the Borders for locals to join the Commission.
