Bemersyde beat lands a 25 pound salmon
Ghillie Ian Farr was delighted when syndicate member, Sandy Scott, landed a 25lb-fish, the second of the day on Friday the 15th of September. Both fish were safely released back into the Tweed.

Tweed for the last few weeks has been hit constantly by the weather, with patterns of wind, significant amounts of rain and snow.
So much so that the river has only been fishable in certain sections for brief periods of time. After a settled Autumn, December and January, it is very frustrating that we are struggling into the new season.
A cheque was handed to Nick Yonge last week for £2,871.10 from angler donations made when booking their fishing through the FishTweed site.
The money will be used by TweedStart, an initiative aimed at encouraging participation in natural history and game angling throughout the Tweed catchment. TweedStart’s Angling Development Officer is Eoin Fairgrieve – read more.
